As the Managing Director of The Pathfinder’s Group, Inc., Mr. Fulton has assisted senior management teams at various companies with recreating their total remuneration strategies, where his client solutions include the design and restructuring of benefit programs, and the development of both broad-based and narrowly focused compensation programs at all organizational levels. He provides value for clients in many areas of innovative compensation & benefits strategies, design of cash compensation, reward, and benefit programs, and analysis of human resources work processes. Bob has specialized in compensation and benefits for over thirty years, the last ten in consulting. In his twenty-two years as a practitioner, he has been in management at a variety service and industrial organizations, including Ameritech Publishing, Morton Specialty Chemicals, Sara Lee Bakery, Keebler Company, Sweetheart Cup Company and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Education & Credentials
Bob holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Quantitative Methods from
Loyola University of Chicago, as well as a B.S. in Industrial Management
from the University of Akron, OH. He is currently a member of WorldatWork
and the Chicago Chapter of the International Society of Certified
Employee Benefits Specialists. Bob holds current SPHR, CCP and CEBS certifications. As a member of HRMAC and SHRP, he has held numerous committee positions over the years, and served for many years on the Board of the Chicago Compensation Association. Bob has taught both graduate level compensation classes at DePaul University and is a speaker for a variety of professional associations and other groups. He is also active with a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and with his local church.
