As the Managing Director of The Pathfinder’s Group, Inc., Mr. Fulton provides value for clients in the areas of innovative compensation & benefit strategies for organizations, design of cash compensation, reward, and benefit programs, and analysis of human resources work processes. He will bring the same dedication and effort to your organization, where our focus will be to work closely with your team to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s compensation systems. He can help you to integrate compensation systems into your organization’s the business strategy and culture as well as provide performance improvement so critical to today’s business success. The emphasis is to make your compensation strategy operational by implementing reward systems that have a positive impact.

Bob has specialized in compensation and benefits for over twenty five years. Bob’s accomplishments include the design and restructuring of benefit programs, and the development of both broad-based and narrowly focused compensation plans at all organizational levels. In his work he has assisted senior management teams with recreating their total remuneration strategies at various clients and companies including such service and industrial organizations as Ameritech Publishing, Morton Specialty Chemicals, Sara Lee Bakery, Keebler Company, Sweetheart Cup Company and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Education & Credentials

Bob holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Quantitative Methods from Loyola University of Chicago, as well as a B.S. in Industrial Management from the University of Akron, OH. He is currently a member of WorldatWork and the Chicago Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists. Bob holds CCP and CEBS certifications from these associations. As a member of the Chicago Compensation Association, he has held numerous Board positions over the years, most recently as co-Chair for the CCA Institute (educational programs). In his affiliation with WorldatWork, Bob has served on several task forces, including the Group Partnership Network committee. Bob teaches certification classes for WorldatWork, and has taught both graduate and undergraduate compensation classes at DePaul University as an Adjunct professor in the Department of Management.
